Synopsis:
Sacramento, CA based band Ten After Two formed in May of 2009. Friends from school, drummer Vincent Adorno and guitarist Pat Hennion decided to start the band after recognizing each other’s incredible musical talent and style that seemingly fit together perfectly. When playing together it made them realize that music was something that they were willing to devote their lives to. Soon after the band gained vocalist and guitarist Josh Doty. Through Josh and his previous band Elanor Manor they met vocalist Sean Wall and the band soon came together, constantly producing music. The final piece to the puzzle was when bassist Danny Clark joined the band. With the five of them working together they feel as if they can accomplish anything in hopes that the future is bright and that they can achieve the goals they set out to attain.
Review:
Ten After Two burst onto the scene relatively recently, and while their EP was less than special "Truth Is" really looks to skyrocket this band forward. The most notable feature for this band is how well they flow together even though they have only been a band for roughly 2 years. Every member benefits the other whether it be with backing vocals or solid guitar riffs. "Dead After Dallas" offers some very frightening screams that will make anyones spine tingle. Unfortunately this band will be more than likely out shined due to the recent increase in post-hardcore bands. Ten After Two is a great band, but they may be overshadowed by a sea of constant white noise. My hopes are that this band gets offered a chance to shine on next years Warped Tour...this will offer them the greatest chance of getting their music heard all over the country.
