The Wonder Years: Suburbia Review

Synopsis:
The Wonder Years is an American pop punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that began in June 2005. Since then, they have released three full length albums, two EPs, and several splits/compilation contributions. The band is currently signed to Hopeless Records.

Review:
The Wonder Years is yet another band from my home state of Pennsylvania that has risen the ranks over the past couple years. While Pop-Punk is not one of my top favorite genres, this album is one of the best that I have heard. This band has not really changed their instrumental sound since the beginning, but they always manage to make everything sound new. There are plenty of catchy tracks when it comes to sound appeal, but by far one of the best was “Don’t Let Me Cave In”. The Wonder Years have definitely matured as a band and continue to strive for the greatest potential they can meet. The lyrics are a crisp reminder of how this band came out of all their trials and tribulations with the help of music and friends. I left this album with absolutely no complaints, and a renewed sense of ideas about how to progress my life onward. The Wonder Years have put together a masterpiece for their genre and I doubt we will see any band top this for quite some time, if at all. As I said previously not my genre of music, but this album is stellar and will be on my iPod until it dies. My only worry is can The Wonder Years next album top this one?
